Bonfiglioli USA president receives Entrepeneur of the Year Award

CEO Greg Schulte proves to be a successful business leader in just under a year.

Bonfiglioli USA president and CEO Greg Schulte was recently named a finalist in Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards for South Central Ohio and Kentucky. The Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards recognize business leaders who take their business to the next level and find creative ways to achieve their goals, and build and grow the company.

Schulte was appointed to the position of president in June 2008 and in just under a year, has already quickly proven to be a successful business leader. Schulte oversees the
Bonfiglioli Group’s American headquarters located in Hebron, KY, providing solutions to the industrial, mobile and renewable energy industries.

Schulte began with Bonfiglioli in 2002 as the National Sales Manager in the Mobile Solutions Division. In 2007, he became the VP of Sales before being promoted to president. Schulte’s sales and marketing expertise has led the company to achieve high sales growth in the Off-Highway OEM & Industrial Equipment markets taking revenue from $3.5 million to $74 million in just six years.

Schulte has more than 17 years of experience in the industry and holds a bachelor of science in business management from Ohio State University. Schulte, who was one of twenty-three Cincinnati-area businesspeople to receive the award, will be considered for the Entrepreneur of the Year national awards in November.
