The Bonfiglioli Group is pleased to announce the release of the UL
certification for its RPS TL-UL inverter series, the new solution for the North
American Market that is unsurpassed in terms of proven and trusted
technology. The RPS TL-UL is designed to
UL1741 and CSA 107.01-01 standards and certification was granted after
extensive NRTL testing.
RPS TL-UL inverters are immediately available for the North American market and boasts one of the widest ranges of inverter ratings on the market today (from 367 kWac to 1.40 MWac), ensuring an optimal matching with any size array. One of the first high-power inverts UL listed at 1000V for both grounded and floating arrays, the RPS TL-UL offers a scalable, modular architecture that provides greater system flexibility and more options for managing working load. The modular architecture is noteworthy as it maximizes reliability and minimizes loss of energy production also in case of a single inverter module failure.
Available in both Master-Slave and Multi-MPPT versions, the RPS TL-UL inverters provide connectivity for arrays of up to 1000 Vdc and include a comprehensive set of grid management and protection functions with the flexibility to meet all relevant grid management codes and practices in North America, making Bonfiglioli an ideal partner for utility-scale installations.
“The addition of UL-approved inverters expands Bonfiglioli’s PV offering to the North American market, in particular to utility-scale applications,” said Greg Schulte, President of Bonfiglioli USA. “This expansion is coupled with the addition of a strong local manufacturing, reliable service and a solid infrastructure to support the significant growth of the North American solar market. It is also evidence of Bonfiglioli’s commitment to solar and green technologies, which for many years has provided reliable renewable energy solutions around the globe, and now is presented to the North American market.”
