BSR (Bonfiglioli Synchronous Reluctance Motor), Synchronous Reluctance Motors

The Synchronous Reluctance Motors is an electric motor that combines a conventional three phase induction motor stator with an innovative rotor, having no windings nor magnets. The lack of rotor Joule losses allows an increase of motor ratings as respect to an induction motor in terms of both efficiency and power density.

High power density than Induction motors. Up to 2 size less, for same power and size.

High dynamic due to low inertia 

Accurate sensorless torque/speed control in combinations with ACU410 converter
