Paving the way for a sustainable future for almost 70 years

Working today for a sustainable tomorrow

Challenge, Respect, Accountability and Winning Together: these are the values that have always inspired us and continue to guide us in everything we do. Every day, we are continuously cementing our commitment to the Environment, People, our Community and Local Area, Innovability, Governance and Compliance. Each of these areas presents its own challenges, of course, but also a real opportunity to generate a positive impact on the society and environment we live in.

"Sustainability isn't just about the future, but about the choices we make today."

This is the vision upheld by our CEO Sonia Bonfiglioli and the guiding force behind all areas of our company strategy.

Our commitment to developing a sustainable business model led to the creation of our Sustainability Policy: an authentic company manifesto that outlines a clear set of carefully defined objectives in line with the ESG pillars: Environmental, Social and Governance.

Ambitious targets without a concrete plan risk remaining mere desires and dreams. That's why we compiled our Sustainability Roadmap: an action plan that will guide us, step by step, towards the sustainable and fair future that we hope to build between now and 2030.

Focus on: regulatory compliance

To ensure we can accurately measure the Group's impact on the environment, we comply with various international industry frameworks, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). By conforming to these parameters, we are able to identify and quantify the impacts our activities have on the environment, people and society in a way that is clear, uniform and comparable. These parameters are also an integral part of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which requires companies to report on their environmental footprint. The standards we have adopted set universal sustainability targets that all companies and countries must strive towards in order to reduce their impact on the planet.

Sustainability: what we've achieved

We have the tools to accurately measure the results of our work, and periodically record them in the form of clear, transparent reports. This means we can continuously improve our sustainability performance and communicate the impacts of our activities on the environment, people and society, keeping an open dialogue with our stakeholders.
