A space dedicated to skills development and global collaboration
Bonfiglioli inaugurates its new Training Room in Calderara di Reno (Bologna), a space designed to support continuous skills development and strengthen an increasingly collaborative, hands-on, and innovation-driven way of working.
This Training Room has been conceived as a dynamic environment where theory and practice come together. A true corporate gym designed to train skills, mindset, and teamwork, it fosters experiential learning, experimentation, and continuous exchange, transforming knowledge into practical capabilities that can be immediately applied to everyday projects and factory activities.
The Training Room is fully embedded within the Bonfiglioli Progression System (BPS) and includes a dedicated safety area featuring in-depth content on the Golden Rules and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The space is equipped with electro-hydraulic training benches, complete with the same components used on Bonfiglioli’s production and assembly lines, enabling hands-on learning closely connected to real operational scenarios.
Completing the training experience is a collaborative robot equipped with a two-finger electrically actuated gripper, allowing teams to safely experiment with automation solutions in a controlled environment. Through the integration of digital tools and videoconferencing, the Training Room also supports collaboration and training across different plants worldwide, helping to bridge geographical distances and reinforce a shared way of working.
This approach reflects the Japanese concept of Dojo, meaning “the place of the way”: a space where people do not simply learn techniques, but cultivate a mindset based on respect, discipline, and continuous improvement. In this sense, the new Training Room represents Bonfiglioli’s corporate dojo—a permanent laboratory for skills development, innovation, and shared culture.
With this new space, Bonfiglioli reinforces its commitment to people development, skills enhancement, and the creation of a work environment in which continuous learning is a key driver of growth, innovation, and excellence.
