Once again Bonfiglioli is presenting the competition notice for the Leonardo Committee for 2019: a recognition for the best thesis on digital solutions supporting mechatronic systems

Since 2011, Bonfiglioli has been supporting, promoting and financing a prize for graduation theses. Named after our company’s founder, Clementino Bonfiglioli, this prize is awarded to young people who demonstrate excellence in their studies and complete a degree thesis relevant to industrial automation, power transmission and control, or innovative mechatronics.

A bridge between school and future that persists even in 2019 with the awarding of the "Clementino Bonfiglioli Award" to the most innovative thesis on "The Development of Digital Solutions to Improve Product Offerings and Control of Manufacturing Processes Relating to Mechatronic Power Transmission Systems for Industrial Applications," providing a six-month paid internship in one of the Group's offices.

Mechatronics is one of the innovative territories now mastered by Bonfiglioli, from this experience comes the desire to contribute in formation of excellence in the young engineering talents of our country and beyond. The competition notice will be open to postgraduate graduates in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science or Electronics Engineering with a graduation dated after 10/01/2016 and a grade not lower than 90/100 (100/110). In addition, the winner will be offered a six-month paid internship at one of the Group's offices.

“Focusing on specific training paths combined with digital and creative skills, to which our children are already naturally predisposed, is the winning key for global challenges. With the Leonardo Committee's Degree Awards, we have been supporting brilliant, prepared young people for 22 years, consolidating a dialogue between business and work", says Luisa Todini, President of the Leonardo Committee, and the Bonfiglioli Group is proud to take up this challenge again this year and carrying it out together with the winner, who will receive the award during the next Italian Quality Day in the presence of the President of the Republic.
