At the iVT Expo, the annual international exhibition showcasing components, services and technologies applied to the next generation of industrial vehicles, Bonfiglioli showcased its highly advanced kit consisting of two electric drives and one electric motor designed for battery-powered mini-excavators, but suitable also for other compact off-highway machines. An extraordinary innovative solution that allows for a 20% improvement in energy efficiency.
A super performing kit among the most reliable solutions for earth-moving machines, which more specifically combines three different components:
• An electric Swing Drive of the 700TE Series: extremely compact and performing, this series offers high torque in a limited space and integrates an electromagnetic brake, as well as speed and temperature sensors.
• An electric Track Drive of the 700CE Series: among its benefits for OEMs are ease of installation, higher system reliability thanks to fewer mechanical parts and the virtually maintenance-free electric motors
• An electric Motor for Pump Drive of the BPM Series: featuring a permanent magnet motor with SAE connections, the BPM Series is the best choice in case of electrifying mobile machinery. This series is dedicated to linear actuators which can be left unchanged, while the hydraulic pump is driven by electric motor. The latter, specifically designed for mobile pump applications, offers a high degree of protection, a high torque density, low noise and easy maintenance.
