Bonfiglioli @ IVT Expo

Bonfiglioli is taking part in iVT Expo 2026, the leading exhibition for next-gen industrial and off-highway vehicle technology, showcasing its latest advancements in the e-mobility sector, targeting, among others, construction and agricultural machinery.

Bonfiglioli highlights its commitment to supporting OEMs through the ongoing evolution of industrial and off-highway applications, combining decades of engineering expertise with a comprehensive portfolio of hydraulic, electric and integrated drive solutions. The company continues to strengthen its position as a “full-line provider” of electrified motors and final drives for customers pursuing higher efficiency, productivity and sustainability targets. With almost 50 years of experience in electrified drives, Bonfiglioli offers tailor-made solutions for both low-voltage and high-voltage applications, supporting the transition toward electrified and hybrid machinery while maintaining strong expertise in traditional hydraulic drive systems. The goal is to ensure optimized Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and high operational reliability.

Integrated electric drive solutions for construction and off-highway mobility

Among the technologies on display, Bonfiglioli will showcase several advanced electromobility solutions developed for construction and off-highway applications. For excavators up to 20 tons, Bonfiglioli’s highlight is the integrated electric swing drive solution combining the 700T planetary gearbox with the BPM permanent magnet motor series. The solution operates in the 400 - 700 V range and delivers up to 35 kW, providing OEMs with a compact and fully integrated package optimized for efficiency and performance.

The company also presents the BPM 200 liquid-cooled permanent magnet motor for high-voltage applications. Developed for hybrid and partially electrified machines, the solution addresses growing market demand for flexible electrification architectures, particularly in applications where customers are progressively electrifying selected machine functions through electric pump drive systems.

In the spotlight is the solution for compact track loaders: a drive based on the 705CE gearbox combined with the BPM 240 permanent magnet motor. Engineered for compact machine architectures, ranging from 1.5 to 6 tons, the system delivers high power density while meeting stringent dimensional requirements for urban and compact electric equipment.

The right solution for low-voltage applications

For low-voltage applications, Bonfiglioli displays its solution for mini track loaders, integrating the 700T series with the air-cooled BPM 200 motor. Available with IP65 and IP66 protection ratings and nominal power up to 16 kW, the solution is particularly suited for mini excavators and agricultural applications such as AGV robotic systems, where hybrid electrification through electric pump drives is increasingly taking hold. The company’s solutions are helping OEMs, startups and R&D departments within large organizations meet rising expectations for intelligent, electric and connected farming attachments, i.e. next-gen trimmers, mowers and other precision tools which are typically used in vineyard and orchard maintenance. In this context, the solutions proposed drive the next generation of agricultural attachments, delivering precision, efficiency and sustainability. Bonfiglioli’s drives provide precise speed and torque control for outstanding performance, while offering zero local emissions, reduced noise and enhanced energy efficiency. With fewer moving parts and no hydraulic oil, they minimize maintenance requirements, downtime and overall operating costs.

Bonfiglioli unveils new electric drive solution for compact track dumpers

The portfolio on display also includes the 700/2 CE solution for compact track dumpers. The system is currently intended for prototype applications and represents a brand-new solution at iVT Expo. It combines the electric version of the 700C track drive with the new BPM 111 permanent magnet motor, extending Bonfiglioli’s electromobility range toward lower-power applications. It offers a compact package that equals and indeed exceeds the propulsion and thrust performance of conventional machines, because power and torque are immediately available to the electric motor at every operating speed. Additionally, as the track gearboxes are electrically driven, the machine can work in sensitive areas where emissions and noise are a concern, even on night shifts. Operating in the 48–80 V range and available with IP65 and IP67 protection ratings, the solution includes an electromagnetic parking brake and is specifically designed for compact tracked vehicles. It offers further benefits, such as reduced maintenance requirements and high maneuverability, thanks to its rotating housing output.

iVT Expo represents an important opportunity to demonstrate Bonfiglioli’s capability to support OEMs with both traditional and electrified solutions. In a market environment characterized by a more gradual electrification pace, Bonfiglioli remains committed to providing the expertise, technologies and application support needed to support customers in their transition journey.
