Facile! È il riduttore montato sulla turbina eolica tramite cui si genera l’energia che seve per farla funzionare!

A partire dal 1988, più di 30 anni fa, in B6 è iniziato lo studio e poi la produzione di riduttori per il settore eolico e negli anni quello dell’energia pulita è diventato il nostro secondo mercato di riferimento, rendendoci leader mondiale del settore.

Pensa che al mondo una turbina su 3 monta un riduttore Bonfiglioli e che nomi di spicco, quali Vestas e GE, ci hanno scelto come loro fornitore.

Proprio per quest’ultimo cliente stiamo sviluppando delle soluzioni per la nuova turbina Haliade-X alta oltre 260 metri (quasi come la Torre Eiffel) e con pale di oltre 115 metri, la cui potenza - 15 MW - ha la capacità di generare una quantità di energia elettrica sufficiente per alimentare una città con circa 12 mila abitazioni.

Have you ever thought about the connection between this light bulb and Bonfiglioli Forlì?

It’s very simple! What connects them is the gearbox assembled on the Wind turbine which  generates the necessary energy to make the light bulb work!

Back in 1988 – more than 30 years ago – Bonfiglioli Forlì started engineering and producing gearboxes for the Wind market. Year after year, clean energy has become our second most important market, making us a worldwide leader in this sector.

Just think about the fact that one turbine out of 3 worldwide is equipped with a Bonfiglioli gearbox and that leading companies such as Vestas and GE have chosen Bonfiglioli as their supplier.

In particular, GE is developing solutions for the new Haliade-X turbine which is higher than 260 meters (almost the same height of Eiffel Tower) and whose blades are longer than 115 meters. Its power – 15 MW – can generate energy for a city of about 12.000 buildings.
